Hi everyone! My name is Zachary Rios, and I am an intern at SAGE Therapy Services. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University and my Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care from William Paterson University. I am currently completing a post-graduate certificate program to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over nine years of experience in the healthcare field, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in acute inpatient settings, neurological clinical trials, and long-term care. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and have given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges individuals face throughout their lives.My clinical interests include substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to partner with each individual on their journey toward improved mental health, recovery, and overall well-being.
