Hi, I’m Selly, a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) at Sage Therapy Services. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stockton University and completed my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University, with a specialization in child and adolescent development. ​I have five years of experience in the mental health field, including two years of supervised clinical practice, but also as a Regional Administrator, and before that, in case management. These roles have deepened my passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families while understanding the broader systems that impact their lives. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families from diverse cultures, identities, and life experiences, including a range of diagnoses and trauma histories. I strive to provide culturally sensitive care that honors each client’s unique identity and experience. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a foundational approach in my practice, I draw from a range of modalities like Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy—tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs. My work is grounded in a systemic lens and guided by empathy, collaboration, and a deep commitment to growth and healing.
