Clinicians

Licensed Clinician

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor. I earned my master’s degree from Rutgers University in Rehabilitation Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health track. I have worked in a variety of settings including an Acute Partial Hospitalization program for adults. I have experience working with adults from different cultures, sexualities, gender/gender identities, and religions. To me, an important part of therapy is to build a strong, trusting, and nonjudgmental relationship between the counselor and client. I strive to do this by creating a space where an individual feels safe, respected, and heard. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, tailoring therapy to a client’s own needs and values. With my own experiences navigating the mental health care system, I recognize the difficulties that can come with finding care and want to provide support to others. Whether it be enhancing coping skills, identifying patterns, or processing difficult emotions, I look forward to working with you and providing you support during your journey.
